Career Development

October 2010 - March 2011 -  Commissioned Mural painting for Club Fed Health Club, Federal building (downtown) Portland, Oregon.  I submitted 3 sketches for review to a panel of board members.   The mural if with Acylric paints.

2000 - 2010 - Graphic Designer,  Nature's Wild Rice Co.  Bemidji, MN.

Design & photograph 36 page catalog -185 gourmet dried food products. 

Catalog is sent to Chefs across the country as an ordering resource. 

Catalog is redesigned every 3 months to include new recipes and products.

Responsible for company website design and optimizing.  Design all packaging

for products, wholesale or retail.  Advertising material include email marketing, brochures,

newsletters, and print ads.

*Have become the company tech person with self taught knowledge of many programs.

1984-Present  - Freelance Graphic Designer/Artist. -  produced logos, websites, packaging design, sign design,

photo shoots, brochures, catalogs & print material for wide range of clients.  Work closely with Printers and

Photographers to achieve the most professional results.

1996 - 1998 - Product Development, Lady Slipper Designs, Bemidji, MN.  A unique company based in Northern Minnesota

to promote products from crafts people in remote areas.  Lady Slipper worked with well know companies such as  - Smith & Hawkins, L.L. Bean & Better Homes & Garden.  I was in charge of developing products that could promote income for families with limited employment opportunities.

1990 - 1996 - Graphic Artist for Night Owl Promotions, McCall, Idaho  - a Screen Printing Company.

Worked as an artist to develop promotional designs for businesses, events, and organizations. Also worked

as a screen printer, screen set up, Photo developing of screens with art work, and pulling a 4 color press.
